Tab

Know where your PayNow and PayLah! money actually went

Tab turns each bank payment alert — PayNow, PayLah! or card — into something you'll actually recognise, by asking you once on Telegram what it was.

The problem with bank alerts

Since 2026, PayNow shows masked names like TXX KXX HXXX, and card alerts have always been cryptic codes. You see that money left — not what it was for:

  • NETS QR 5483***210 — a hawker stall. Which one?
  • STRIPE* 4KLM89QR — a subscription. Which one renewed?
  • GRAB* SINGAPORE — which ride, and was it worth it?

How Tab labels your spending

Tab reads the alert the moment it arrives and asks you on Telegram with one-tap category buttons. Answer once; next time at the same merchant, Tab labels it automatically. PayNow transfers always ask, because your bank can't tell a friend from a hawker stall — so you stay in control of those.

Everything in one place

Card, PayNow, PayLah!, YouTrip, Grab, Shopee — Tab reads alerts from the banks and apps it supports and shows them on one dashboard with your categories, subscription detection, budgets, a daily recap, and CSV export.

Frequently asked questions

Does Tab track PayNow and PayLah!?

Yes — Tab reads PayLah! and bank payment-alert emails from the senders it supports (OCBC, DBS/POSB, PayLah!, YouTrip, Grab, Shopee, PayPal, ShopBack).

What about masked PayNow names?

Tab asks you what the payment was, so a masked name becomes a label you recognise.

Does Tab see my bank balance?

No. Tab only reads the individual payment alert emails, not your bank account.

Can I fix a wrong category?

Yes, tap Change on any logged transaction.
